As our Skills Bootcamp Programmes enter their third year, we are continuing to help people access life changing employment opportunities, and support employers with the talent they need.
What started in response to a record number of vacancies in tech roles as part of the government’s “Skills for Life” campaign has now evolved into a community that has helped thousands of candidates develop new tech skills. 2023 was another hugely successful year for our pathways, with some incredible successes for candidates and our partners.
Our Tech Accelerator, the relaunched face of our Skills Bootcamps offering, is a talent mobilisation solution, enabling you to access candidates best aligned to your junior or entry-level hiring needs. As Skills Bootcamps in Digital, these are an evolution of pathways that reflect employer demand, while combining candidate development with scalable talent deployment solutions, all in a fully-funded model.
Bespoke Deployment for Your Business
Over the last three years we’ve shaped a “best in class” curriculum across our three pathways in partnership with our community of over 200 employers, including Lorien, LGT, Harrods, Renault, Nissan, Sopra Steria and multiple NHS trusts.
We’ve partnered with like-minded organisations who align to the same clear goals: removing barriers to Tech careers, creating a safe and engaging environment, continuing to develop wider and deeper partnerships, and ensuring no one is left behind.
From the initial talent attraction process to the ongoing skills development through our accelerator pathways and onto deployment, we help you design every step of the journey. With provisions across Data, IT and Software, we’re confident we have something to offer every organisation.
In 2023 we held a number of events in collaboration with CompTIA, Microsoft, Generation & Santander, supporting our partners covering candidate events in STEM, women in Tech, Diversity in Tech and Social conclusion. This work will continue to grow in 2024, as we renew our partnership with generation, and begin a partnership with Next Tech Girls as well as over 30 charities, councils and referral partners.
“We are delighted to have so many great organisations working alongside us to develop our tech accelerator pathways. When we set out on the journey of Digital Skills Bootcamps, we started with a team of just 4 supporting around 100 candidates. Fast forward to 2024 and our 65 strong team is helping 2000+ candidates a year into tech careers, with 1500+ interviews conducted last year.
Our focus is always on impact and enablement, with increased year on year opportunities for those new to tech to transition into. We can only do this with our excellent committed partners who work with us every day to help create life changing employment outcomes. Here’s to making 2024 our best ever for our candidates at Just IT!”
