What support will I receive?
You will receive guided support from our technical trainers throughout your learning. They will help you to overcome any challenges you might experience with the programme content during the technical sessions and self-study periods.
In addition, for our Skills Bootcamp programmes, our Career Support Team will work alongside you to help you get ready for your first role in tech or digital. From Soft Skill support to mock interviews – they will be with you every step of the way to help you make the most of your newfound technical skills.
Will I get certifications?
Yes! If you are on our Digital Skills or Digital and Social Media Marketing programme, you will receive an accredited certification from Just IT.
What will I learn?
We will help develop the knowledge and skills needed to start your career in IT, data, software or Digital Marketing.
IT Technician Bootcamp learners will learn and gain knowledge in CompTIA+ and Microsoft 365.
Software Development Bootcamp learners will study HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python and Database Design.
Our Data Technician Skills Bootcamp learners will be given exposure to Microsoft Excel, Tableau, RStudio, Power BI, Azure and SQL.
Digital Skills learners will learn and gain knowledge in cyber, programming, digital skills, IT tech support, presentation and spreadsheets, and networking.
Digital and Social Media Marketing learners will study project management, digital marketing, content marketing, social media marketing, metrics, analytics, and preparing for employment.
Do you have a back to work programme?
Skills Bootcamps are part of the government’s Plan for Jobs – aiming to help those who are in long-term unemployment after the Pandemic, or simply those looking for a career change.
This means they are well suited to those returning to work. Our team will ensure you have their full support throughout your learning to make sure you’re fully prepared for new career in tech and digital.
How can I apply?
You can apply via our Training Programme pages on our website. From there you will be invited to join an info webinar at a time that best suits you, to learn more about the Bootcamp, how it works and how you can get started.
For our Digital Skills and Digital Marketing and Social Media programmes, you will be contacted by a member of our team so that you can enrol.
How much does the programmes cost?
The programmes are fully-funded by the government, subject to eligibility – meaning there is no cost to our learners. These fully-funded programmes are subject to eligibility terms however.
Who is eligible for fully-funded programmes?
We currently have contracts with the Department for Education and the Greater London Authority, meaning we can provide fully funded (free) learning to candidates aged 19+ across England, with 3 years of proof of living in the UK or have EAA exempt status.
Please note that for our Digital Skills and Digital Marketing and Social Media Marketing programmes, you must be living in Greater London.
How is the training delivered?
Your training is delivered remotely, with specific course timings being dependent upon your chosen programme pathway. All participants need to be available Monday to Friday 9am – 5:30pm as this is a full-time course.
Please note that in some instances for our Digital Skills programme, the 1 day induction (9am-5:30pm) may need to be conducted in our Just IT office in Aldgate.
If you have to travel to our office on the induction session, you can claim for travelling to our offices, lunch and returning home. The cap is £25 and we will provide you with a form so we can pay you back.
You must keep proof of purchase to claim expenses.
What are the requirements of the programme?
Other than eligibility, the only technical requirements are that candidates will need to have access to a PC or laptop with a working webcam as well as an internet connection of at least 10mbps. The laptop or PC you possess must have the following specs:
- Intel i5 CPU minimum. Intel i7 or i9 CPU preferred
- 8GB RAM
- 500GB SSD Storage
- Windows 10 or 11 (Home or Pro)
If you don’t have the required equipment, we can provide support by loaning a suitable laptop or webcam.
Can you fit this programme around a full-time job?
No, you need to attend guided learning hours as indicated above – which are full-time Monday – Friday (9am-5:30pm).
If you need to miss a training session, we can make exceptions for learners with other engagements i.e., medical appointments, school pick-ups, health or faith related reasons. Our trainers must be informed in advance if you are not able to make a session with good reason.
Can I refer a friend?
Yes, if you refer a friend, you will be eligible for a £50 Amazon voucher. To qualify for £50 your referral must be someone new to Just IT – a candidate not already registered with us, aged 19+ and must hit a minimum qualifying point.
What can I expect after completing one of the programmes
Graduates who successfully complete one of our programmes will be eligible to enrol onto one of our multilple further educational offers.
Alternatively you have the option towards approaching the open market, where you can apply for a role directly. If you find your own role, you may be eligible for a £50 Amazon voucher too! With either option, you will be skilled in your chosen area and will have the opportunity to be employed in one of the highest paid sectors in the UK.
