In just 10 weeks, you’ll dive deep into the interconnected world of the Internet of Things and be able to install, configure and maintain the devices which run our smart homes and workplaces. With these in-demand skills, you’ll be at the forefront of a rapidly evolving industry where innovation meets convenience.
What you will learn
The IT Smart Technician programme will build the technical knowledge and hands-on skills needed to start your career. This will include:
- Smart Technologies
- Electrical Principles
- Technical & Architectural Drawings & Documentation
- Networking
- Internet of Things (IoT)
- Project Management
You start here. Gaining a wide variety of technical and practical skills and upon completion, you’ll be perfectly placed to progress onto one of our digital apprenticeship programmes or move into full-time employment.
Career Support
Our Skills Bootcamps focus on making candidates as employable as possible, by giving them the skills, qualifications, and career and recruitment support needed to get into an IT or digital role. Our Career Support team have worked with candidates from all different backgrounds, to hone their skills and make sure they are fully equipped for their chosen career.
Eligibility
Our IT Smart Technician Skills Bootcamp programme are available to all adults, regardless of prior attainment aged 19+. For this programme, applicants must;
- Be living within Greater London
- Be employed, self-employed, career changers, returners to work or unemployed within the last 12 months.
- Have access to a reliable internet connection with a PC/ Laptop.
- Have the right to live and work in the UK.
