Work placements offer employers who have skills gaps but cannot commit to a permanent hire a flexible, short-term way to utilise talented entry-level IT, Development and Data professionals trained by Just IT.

We offer employers a range of IT people solutions, from senior hires, through to apprenticeships and our Skills Bootcamps, and our work placements are part of this suite of solutions. They are designed to meet the needs of employers looking for additional IT or Developer or Data support, but who cannot currently commit to permanent hires.

As an IT training provider, we see the hard work and commitment our learners put into developing their skills and gaining qualifications, and we feel these newly qualified Junior Developers, IT Support Technicians and Data Technicians are perfect for employers looking for low-risk short term skills solutions.

How the Scheme Works

We can offer IT Support, Data Technician and Junior Developer work placements – talented and committed people who invested their time and effort to develop their skills, get qualified and secure an entry-level role in their chosen field.

For a Work Placement you can pay an agreed daily rate via our payroll service.

Our candidates

Our learners have each attended 12-weeks of facilitated workshop training, each with their own unique blend of skills by pathway.

Our Junior Developers have skills in System Development lifecycle & Methodologies, HTML/ JavaScript / CSS, Database Design and Python.

The IT Support graduates have passed their CompTIA A+, Office 365 and Microsoft Windows Client certifications within a hands-on environment.

Our Data Technicians have developed foundational skills covering Microsoft Excel, Tableau, RStudio, SQL, Power BI and Azure Data Fundamentals.

All candidates have been through our inhouse employability and soft skills development programme. This crucially gives our learners the right balance of technical skills and soft skills that are so sought after by employers.

Your commitment

There is no long-term commitment required, however, if you like the candidate(s) and have a vacancy on completion of their work placement, then there is the option to take the candidate on at a reduced recruitment fee.

If after the 12 weeks you do not wish to take up this option, then the candidate leaves, and we thank you for supporting their career development with valuable experience.
