Position Overview
Working within the Delivery Management team you will be responsible for the internal quality assurance of our CIPD and CMI qualifications, in line with internal IQA Sampling Strategies and Awarding Body centre requirements. You will identify and disseminate best practice in respect of assessment and support via feedback and analysis of IQA activity and awarding body moderation, to develop tutors via structured CPD sessions to meet the required standards of assessment. You will also work with Service Delivery Managers to provide insights on their staff performance relating to the assessing of learner work, and with the Group Quality Manager to identify links between assessment of work and OTLA activity.

Role Responsibilities
- Sample work in line with sampling strategies and centre requirements
- Analyse IQA results to identify trends which inform actions for the basis of future assessment
- Ensure Trainers are trained to the required standards to be able to competently assess learner work via the delivery of structured CPD and assessment support
- Manage quality monitoring in line with company processes including sampling schedule and moderation requirements
- Ensure effective communication through regular contact with Service Delivery Managers and efficient cascading of information including IQA analysis, standardisation activity and subsequent results
- Ensure effective communication through regular contact with Quality Dept. to link IQA performance and analysis to OTLA performance
- Maximising efficiency of the programmes through the setup of automated reporting
- Identify, plan and develop appropriate learning resources to meet the needs of the business
- Attend and participate in meetings within relevant stakeholders as required
- To undertake all aspects of the post in accordance with the companies Equal Opportunities policy

- To maintain and update own knowledge, skills and occupational competence as required by the awarding bodies
Candidate Requirements
- Occupational competence in either HR, HR Management, Coaching, Learning & Development, Leadership & Management
- Highly motivated, persuasive, persistent, and patient
- Be professional, have a mature personality and be able to gain people’s confidence and put them at ease
- Team player – willing to contribute to the business unit and not solely focused on their own personal goals
- This role is heavily focussed on training, assessment, reporting and development. The ability to provide effective feedback is essential
- Excellent communicator
- Good initiative
- Have good administrative skills, be flexible, adaptable and be able to cope under pressure
Essential Qualifications/Experience
- IQA Qualification or IV Award

- Working towards IQA Qualification
- Maths & English Qualifications
- English Level 2 or above (Includes GCSE A*-C, GCSE 9-4, F/S Level 2/ Key Skills L2 or 3)
- Maths Level 2 or above (Includes GCSE A*-C, GCSE 9-4, F/S Level 2/ Key Skills L2 or 3)
Desirable:
- Hold CIPD and/or CMI qualifications
- Experience in assessment of CIPD and/or CMI qualifications
