Head of Sales – Apprenticeships

Position Overview    

Create a team of people who develop and develop the next stage growth in our Digital provision, namely Digital Marketer L3, Marketing Executive L4, Content Creator L3, Software Developer L4 and Data. You will have the skills to lead from the front in developing business growth.

The team will be experienced in developing business opportunity via campaigns, targeted focus large employers, email campaigns and follow up calls. They will be technical in their capability of understanding our business and will work to pre agreed sectors and Geographies. The focus will be to grow the team that will support our client strategy across Levy clients and high-quality SMEs. You will build specialists in in these areas that will become dedicated teams in the future.

This will aid our growth of 30% per year. This role will report to the Sales Director and work closely with the management team of the business so that we can support their initiatives. As a part of the management team, you will have a natural desire to succeed and will consistently strive to deliver the company goals.

The successful candidate will start by playing an integral part in the sales drives in the business with the opportunity to drive all the main sales strategies going forward. Everything you do will reflect the values and service that we have and compliment the group sales strategy.

Role Responsibilities:

Work as part of JIT Management team in delivering:

  • Just IT Company Vision and People Development Goals
  • Sales and Gross Profit in line with set budgets
  • Strategic & Operational objectives – including our new investment in pathways
  • Joins Operational meetings
  • Involvement in Just IT Training projects as required
  • Delivers agreed ad-hoc projects as required
  • Prepares and runs training sessions as required by the company
  • Represents and cross sells all business area’s
  • The role and the team will have individual targets in creating measurable starts in Apprenticeship and Skills Bootcamps

Candidate Requirements  

Essential Skills:

  • Adds tangible value to business – proven growth of customer base and relationship build
  • Credibility in delivery of sales training
  • Leads on initiatives and operates without instruction
  • Delivery of client growth plans & ownership of key contacts and key accounts
  • Excellent Inter-personal skills with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to deal with lots of different types of clients in a professional manner
  • Desire to learn and execute detailed operational plans
  • Diplomatic and Intelligent communicator
  • Proven track record in a senior influencer position

Budgets:

  • Developing plans to deliver a minimum of 150 starts per pathway
  • Conversion ratio meeting to vacancy of 40% per person (the average in our business currently)
  • Focus market areas will be IT, Software Development and Data
  • Contact expansion per client TBA
  • Agreed campaigns and contact levels TBA
